To create a Carry-on that evokes both past and future, combining traditional materials with technical, innovative components. Distinguishing features include woven leather panels inspired by rattan luggage from the 1960s and a translucent, buttonless handle carved out of a solid block of Lucite. The design conveys craftsmanship, restraint, and durability, recognizable for its silhouette and distinct style codes, rather than relying on a logo.
A limited-edition series of 100 Carry-ons will be produced, each engraved with a unique identifying number. Other characteristics will include wheel casters forged from aviation-grade aluminium for maximum stability/longevity, “silent wheels” with a sound-absorbing air chamber for minimal noise disruption, interior lined with suedelike washable microfibre, and two compartments for valuables and accessories that create a flat surface for wrinkle-free packing.
Each Carry-on is supplied with a protective neoprene cover with an exterior zip pocket for airline check-in.

Each piece is meticulously hand-crafted by specialist artisans from start to finish, prioritizing generational customs, local resources, and enduring relationships with the Made in Italy community.
The name AVITEUR draws inspiration from the sense of freedom associated with flight. It combines the Latin word “avis,” meaning bird, with the French word “voyageur”.
