BWL Hong Kong Regional Customer Centre is conceived as a hybrid destination that goes beyond the conventional showroom, bringing together wellness retail, hospitality-inspired lounges, flexible event spaces, and collaborative work areas within a 5,000 sqft floorplate in Causeway Bay. Positioned on a high floor of the World Trade Centre, the project celebrates panoramic views of Victoria Harbour while creating a calm, immersive environment that reflects BWL’s values of wellbeing, environmental responsibility, and social engagement.
The design narrative draws on Hong Kong’s cultural and natural identity, translating the city’s bamboo scaffolding, terracotta street textures, and the fluid presence of the harbour into a spatial journey that balances urban energy with a sense of serenity. Visitors are guided through a promenade of carefully choreographed experiences, beginning with a restrained arrival sequence and unfolding into a vibrant social hub, a fluid showroom and sales lounge, panoramic café seating, and adaptable training and event spaces. At the centre of the experience is a sculptural installation that creates a memorable visual moment for brand storytelling and content sharing.
Craftsmanship and sustainability underpin every aspect of the project. Local terracotta tiles and halved bamboo introduce tactile warmth and cultural resonance, while stainless steel, fluted glass, and mirrored surfaces add contrast, depth, and reflectivity. A sculptural display table, developed with local fabricators, appears to float above the floor, reinforcing the project’s refined yet enduring character. Modular joinery, adaptable loose furniture, and life-cycle-conscious material choices ensure flexibility, longevity, and circularity.
Lighting, acoustics, and biophilic elements were integrated to support a comfortable and versatile environment. Curvilinear LED lighting evokes the flow of water and gently directs movement, while acoustic treatments and operable partitions allow the space to accommodate multiple activities simultaneously without compromising comfort. Greenery and natural daylight further enhance the atmosphere, creating a living, responsive space that supports both brand engagement and everyday wellbeing.
The project redefines the showroom as a dynamic cultural and commercial environment — one that brings people together, supports flexible programming, and expresses BWL’s commitment to thoughtful design, sustainability, and human connection.
