Concept and Design Inspiration
The overarching concept for Le Yeahllow is “a sweet escape under open skies,” supported by a deeper design narrative: the tranquillity of a natural garden reinterpreted within a contemporary urban context.
The interior is crafted to evoke the rhythm and serenity of nature—an immersive retreat shaped by light, movement, and tactile expression. Natural materials and organic forms reference garden elements such as leaf, water, cloud, and stone, transforming the patisserie into a calm, almost otherworldly destination amid the city’s energy.
The Illuminating Sky Dome
A circular skylight illusion, recessed into the ceiling, acts as the symbolic “sun” of this indoor garden. Though digitally lit, it convincingly simulates an open sky, complete with soft clouds and serene blue tones. More than a lighting feature, it recentres the visitor’s mood, encouraging upward focus and stillness—a quiet moment that contrasts with the bustle outside. It softens spatial perception, making the environment feel larger, lighter, and more uplifting—like stepping into a sun-dappled clearing.
The Mosaic River Path
Leading from the entrance to the counter is a winding path of Fog Verde Caribe Mosaic tiles. Their soft green hues and reflective surface emulate the gentle movement of water in a landscaped stream. Under directional lighting, the surface subtly glimmers, shifting in tone throughout the day like sunlight playing on ripples.
Beyond its poetic presence, this path serves a spatial function—guiding circulation and flow. The natural tones offer visual relief from the brand’s vibrant yellow and introduce an earthy, grounding influence. The path becomes a conceptual bridge between story and movement.
Green Marble as the Bush
At either end of the counter, sculptural plinths of polished Verde Alpi Marble act as visual and symbolic anchors. Their rich veining and depth serve as bold strokes of contrast—like boulders framing the river’s edge.
The tension between the soft yellow render and the cool green marble creates visual harmony. From afar, the pairing forms a surreal landscape—a composition where architecture and pastry artistry mirror one another.
Plantlife and Organic Form
Rather than filling the space with obvious greenery, we abstracted the presence of plantlife through curved forms and soft tones. Wall niches shaped like clouds or leaves hint at foliage, while ambient lighting enhances their depth and shadow. Select shelving areas are lightly styled with preserved greenery or muted botanical arrangements—adding life without overwhelming the product focus.
Even the joinery and floor transitions follow gentle, eroded curves—echoing how nature shapes surfaces over time. This restraint allows the garden theme to exist not through decoration, but through the architectural language itself.
