Office Reimagined – The Earth Centre (TEC) by Vista Spaces, designed by Venkataramanan Associates, is designed to revolutionize the future of workspaces. We believe in creating a community that fosters well-being at every step. TEC combines social amenities and private offices to redefine work-life balance while adhering to carbon-neutral, zero water, and ESG-approved practices. In a vibrant city like Bangalore, we are creating a space that puts the human quotient at the fulcrum of collaboration and innovation. Our core values extend beyond those of a traditional office, positioning us as a hub for a renewed way of working. Anchored by the principle of biophilia, TEC emphasizes a strong connection between nature and the built environment through expansive landscapes.

Our people-centric approach ensures that users’ needs remain at the forefront with experiential and functional spaces. A performance-driven vision integrates cutting-edge technology and innovation to create a green, sustainable workplace like no other. The multiple landscaped terraces, inspired by biophilic design, provide a refreshing escape from the constraints of a conventional workspace.

In a technology-driven era, our workplace is designed with a forward-thinking approach, where the environment not only enhances well-being but also promotes productivity. The staggered terraces act as breakout spaces, creating visual connections across multiple floors and seamlessly integrating users with nature. Endemic landscaping has been strategically incorporated to promote employee well-being. The landscaped terraces, extending across both upper and lower levels, serve as a buffer against traffic and city noise, contributing to a calmer work environment. With balconies outside each office and flexible open areas, we have crafted a space inspired by nature that seamlessly blends a professional setting with opportunities for positive social interaction.

Materiality is an essential element of TEC. The terracotta in our design is a symbol of Earthly essence, creating an energy-efficient building that adds aesthetic value. The tiles incorporated in the design contain over 50% recycled clay, ensuring that sustainability remains at the core of our commitment. The ventilated facade system helps limit envelope heat gains to 30%, allowing the building to breathe. The building’s inherent geometry creates several shaded areas that reduce incident solar gains by 20%. The tactile quality of terracotta used across the facade extends to other elements, such as water bodies, screens, and more, reinforcing the material’s role throughout the design. TEC features a 1MW solar PV installation, which fulfills approximately 33% of the facility’s energy requirements. The building also features one of the largest facade-integrated photo-voltaic installations, enhancing building performance, reducing energy consumption, and setting a new benchmark for high-performance workspaces.
