For the premier luxury residential component of Peralta Beach, the developers engaged our studio to assist with the interior and architectural design of the three foremost ocean-facing villas.

The brief called for three repeat design double-storey homes nestled at the foot of the Peralta Beach development, complete with four luxurious en-suite bathrooms and very generous living spaces and kitchens.

Designed for maximum indoor-outdoor liveability and comfort during summer and winter, the houses were to extend the sleek modern precedent of the developers’ aesthetic into a somewhat more formal, classical format with an emphasis on entertaining and a barefoot, live-work luxury lifestyle.

The new trio of luxury beach villas at Peralta Beach in Portugal bring the formality of Tuscany, the joie de vivre of St. Tropez and the barefoot hedonism of Ibiza to the rugged, yet peacefully agrarian, Silver Coast of Portugal.

Located at the forefront of the Peralta Beach development with its staggering Atlantic Ocean views, these luxury homes are a modern ‘menage a trois’ tucked into a beautifully preserved farming valley facing down towards Peralta Beach.

The interiors make the most of natural daylight through a south facing double-volume over the dining room – which becomes the de facto entrance to the house one level below the entrance road, through a classic European courtyard which is sheltered from the wind.

Warm timber panelling to the shaded areas of the house balance the stark white walls designed for maximum sunlight, whereas at night a warm glow flows through to the outdoor sunken lounge next to the generous swimming pool.
