In the SELENA chair, advanced CNC machining techniques were essential to define the chair’s shape. Innovative surfaces and transitions that push the boundaries of traditional woodworking result in smooth forms of a sturdy and durable chair. The continuity of the wicker produces a minimalist effect, while the transparency of this material creates visual lightness in a monolithic volume. With its seemingly simple appearance, the SELENA chair is a tactile object; to understand its complexity, it is necessary to taste, feel with hands every transition, fit, and surface. This makes it a chair with a light and minimalist look.
