Behind the distinction.

In an Oregon hillside home, expansive views dictate a thoughtful interior design. The centerpiece, a vintage U-shaped sofa, anchors the living space, inviting family gatherings and quiet afternoons with a book. Despite its modest street appearance, the home unfolds into a spacious 3,548 square feet, thanks to strategic renovations that brightened and unified the interior.

Significant structural updates opened the living and dining areas, introducing sliding doors to enhance the indoor-outdoor connection. Thoughtfully chosen seating with custom cushions complements this seamless integration. In the kitchen, the design prioritizes the view, with a functional layout that includes ingeniously integrated storage solutions and a focus on maintaining a connection with the home’s natural surroundings.

The fireplace, a central feature, underwent a meticulous update, blending new materials with the original to preserve the home’s character. The quest for unique materials continued in the bathrooms, where carefully selected marble adds a distinctive touch. The narrative of quality and attention to detail culminates in the master bedroom, where a custom bed, after a journey of adjustments and refinements, stands as a testament to durability and design excellence, embodying the home’s blend of comfort and style.
