The project is located next to the core CBD of Lixia District, Jinan, covering an area of 75 mu and a construction area of 220,000 square meters. The nursing home has 660 rooms and more than 1,300 beds. In addition, there are 10,000 square meters of entertainment area (Jinchun College), health restaurant, Chinese medicine health center, landscape garden and fruit and vegetable plantation and other facilities.
The project design focuses on the experience of the elderly. The design integrates the elderly’s daily life needs. Through integrated and decentralized layout, the traditional point-shaped display area is transformed into a linear streamline. With health management and smart elderly care as the main line, it provides leisure, cultural and entertainment space for the elderly through diversified landscapes and entertainment facilities, and encourages the elderly to relax in the activity venues within the project, enjoy a colorful life experience, and enrich their spiritual world. In order to avoid the sense of isolation brought by the wall in the middle of the whole land, the height difference of the site was cleverly utilized. Through the design elevation treatment method, the CCRC site was set higher than the hospital site, thus forming a natural partition interface. At the same time, through the softening treatment such as green vegetation, the whole project is visually clearly divided into functional areas, without interference, rich in layers, and beautiful scenery within the field of vision.
The planning of entrances and exits can divert people flow, reduce congestion, and improve the safety and convenience of the community. In terms of service integration, underground passages connect hospitals and elderly care services to ensure convenient access to medical resources. The design of the restaurant and the academy incorporates local cultural elements, creating a unique visual and experiential atmosphere, and providing a high-quality living environment and cultural activities for the elderly.
