Casitas Montrose is a collection of three contemporary townhomes developed for Houston’s established Montrose neighbourhood. The project brings a European-influenced design language to dense urban living, combining clean architectural lines and warm material tones with carefully considered interiors and generous private outdoor spaces.

Designed as individual homes within a cohesive residential composition, the townhouses balance openness and privacy across multiple levels. The ground floor establishes the primary living spaces, while bedrooms occupy the second level. Above, a flexible third floor can accommodate entertainment, additional family living or an extra primary suite, allowing the homes to adapt to different lifestyles and changing needs.

Outdoor living is integrated vertically into the architecture rather than confined to the ground plane. Oversized private balconies and rooftop terraces extend the interiors outward, creating elevated retreats within the surrounding city and bringing additional light, air and spatial variety to the residences.

The material palette combines contemporary detailing with natural warmth and a strong emphasis on craftsmanship. Porcelanosa cabinetry and tile are paired with Riva oak flooring imported from Spain, custom mahogany doors, maple handrails and integrated designer lighting. Brazilian timber guardrails introduce a distinctive natural element to the exterior while providing strength and durability.

Located on a tree-lined street within walking distance of restaurants, shops, cultural destinations and the University of St. Thomas, Casitas Montrose responds to its urban setting with a compact yet generous approach to residential design. The project brings together functionality, adaptable spaces, carefully selected materials and outdoor living to create contemporary homes suited to the character and lifestyle of central Houston.
