The Design Skill Awards recognise design across architecture, interiors, products, fashion, digital and communication disciplines. Small architecture, small interiors and furniture for small spaces have dedicated nominations. Small projects can be entered in dedicated nominations in the Architecture, Interior and Furniture disciplines of the Design Skill Awards. Choose the nomination that matches what you designed.
Preparing a strong entry
- Show how the space works: plans and diagrams are essential for small projects.
- Explain storage, multi-use and circulation decisions.
- Include images at human scale.
- State the project status (built or concept) and credit the full team.
DSA fees and deadlines
Registration for the next season opens soon.
- Project submission deadline: 13 September 2026
- Winners announced: 9 October 2026
Students receive a 50% discount on everything except trophies.
How projects are judged

What winners receive
Each Design Skill Awards winner and runner-up receives an electronic certificate of achievement, a set of award logos and promotional banners, and a landing page on the website with full information about the project. Winning projects are publicised on the award’s social media, media partners publish selected winners, and a special engraved trophy can be ordered.
