The Design Skill Awards recognise design across architecture, interiors, products, fashion, digital and communication disciplines. Marketing campaigns, advertising, branded content and social media have three dedicated disciplines. Preparing a strong entry
- Explain the brief, the audience and the idea behind the campaign.
- Show the campaign across its channels, not only the key visual.
- Include results where you can support them with evidence.
- Credit the agency, the client and the full creative team.

What winners receive
Each Design Skill Awards winner and runner-up receives an electronic certificate of achievement, a set of award logos and promotional banners, and a landing page on the website with full information about the project. Winning projects are publicised on the award’s social media, media partners publish selected winners, and a special engraved trophy can be ordered.

Which nomination fits an advertising campaign?
Best Advertising Campaign Design or Best Marketing Campaign Design in the Marketing, Advertising & PR discipline; social campaigns can be entered in Best Social Media Campaign Design.
Can I enter a campaign concept?
Yes. The project status (completed or concept) is shown on each winner page, and recent winners include a concept.
How much does it cost to enter?
Registration for the next DSA season opens soon; the fee schedule on this page updates automatically when it is published. Students receive a 50% discount on everything except trophies, including additional categories.
When is the submission deadline?
Project materials are submitted after registration. Dates for the next season appear here once they are published.
Who judges the entries?
The Design Skill Awards jury of designers, architects and educators. See the Grand Jury Members page.
Can I enter a project that was entered in another competition?
Yes, as long as you hold the right to submit it. A project that did not win elsewhere can be entered in the Design Skill Awards.
