The project covers the lobby of a residential complex’s shared facility, themed “Converging Light · Painting Scenery.” It symbolizes light gathering and intertwining within the space, allowing everyday movement to be rewritten poetically.
The original structure featured high ceilings and ample daylight, yet the interlacing beams and height gaps created visual heaviness. The designer reshaped spatial layering through light bands, using reflective and translucent materials to soften the structure, creating a balance of openness and order.
The lobby combines champagne-gold metal and book-matched stone for a refined ambience. The 5.2-meter-tall metal screen between the reading and lounge areas defines zones while preserving transparency, achieving a “visible yet passable” balance. The curved, tea-colored glass connects the gym and playroom, where light and shadow flow across both sides, ensuring parental visibility and a warm, layered atmosphere.
The overall design centers on refinement, from lighting circuits to edge detailing, so that the trajectory of light becomes the rhythm of daily life, allowing users to experience the slow, warm passage of time.

Yuanlynn Design’s spirit is in line with people’s hearts and minds, suitable for people’s lives, so that the design can maintain its own attitude and temperature. Don’t give the so-called classics like a model, break the limitations to practice expectations, find a balance between ideals and reality, and use design to make space a stable force that supports people’s hearts.
