Meet the International Excellence Awards 2027 Grand Jury: Six Jurors from Four Continents

The International Excellence Awards 2027 has announced its Grand Jury: six professionals who live and work in Brazil, the United States, Thailand and Egypt. Spanning four continents, the panel brings together diverse professional backgrounds and will evaluate entries across all IEA 2027 categories.
This international mix is at the heart of the IEA. Entries come from every part of the world, and they deserve to be read by people who understand different cultures, climates, markets and ways of building. Each juror brings a different lens, and together they give every project a fair, informed and truly global evaluation.
The IEA 2027 Grand Jury
- Ariane Rosa, Ariane Rosa Arquitetura e Design, Brazil
- Yutao Chen, HKS Architects / Studio WE, USA
- Inna Lysetska, IDL Construction, USA
- Professor Jenchieh Hung, Principal Architect of Jenchieh Hung + Kulthida Songkittipakdee / HAS design and research, Thailand
- Sameh Ibrahim Emam, MASAR Architects, Egypt
- Shagun Kalra, The RMR Group / MIT, USA
The IEA does not rank entries against each other. Each juror scores every project independently, and the average score decides the award level: Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze. Every project is measured against a standard of excellence, not against the other entries.
Registration for the International Excellence Awards 2027 is open until 16 March 2027, and the winners will be announced on 6 April 2027. Register your project and present your work to this international Grand Jury.
